Augusta Pines is to be designed with the highest energy star standards.

Direct energy consumption for these homes, such as the energy required to heat, cool and maintain them, will be low in comparision to the direct energy consumption of older, substandard housing units.

The individual dwelling units will be construted in accordance with the energy conservation requirements ser forth in the Minimum Property Standards HQS), the Council of American Builders Organization (CABO) Code and the Model Energy Code.
